Trophy
Hunting:
The Trophy Hunting season starts from the 1st of February and lasts until
to 30th of November.
Clothing:
Light cotton hunting clothing and good comfortable shoes or boots, a hat
and a good torch. Warm clothing for the months May to August as temperatures
can drop to below 0º Celsius.
Weapons and ammunition:
Hand weapons (pistols & revolvers) as well as automatic weapons are prohibited.
A good, safe and stable weapon case is a must to prevent damage to the weapon.
A weapon license as well as a weapons owner's certification is important.
The following calibre's riffles are recommended: 9.3x64; 375; 8x68; and
a 300 Winchester 40 shot ammunition should be sufficient for a normal hunt.
A good, light pair of binoculars and a rifle is of invaluable help when
hunting.
Hunting Permits:
The host usually arranges these, as soon as the required trophies are known
and the booking is confirmed. On arrival the weapons are sometimes packed
separately. In the baggage collection hall the weapons have to be declared
and a weapon license will be issued to you for the period of your visit.
The Trophy
hunt
A professional hunter or professional hunting guide/master guide will at
all times guide and accompany you while hunting. The duration of the hunt
will depend on the required trophies.
Hunting days
All hunting is conducted in line with professional hunting ethics and is
subjected to sufficient availability of the desired game.
Insurance
It is recommended that the trophy hunter have his own personal hunting and
travel insurance. If any further information is required please don't
